Definition of user roles (hierarchical order)

ANONYMOUS :

A non-connected user can access all metadata (trajectories, flight report…), but no data.

AERIS ACCOUNT USER:

No role:

A connected user with no particular role can download all datasets without embargo or whose embargo has expired.

A connected user is active on one or more projects.
This list of projects determines what the user can do.

2 types of roles for users:

<PROJECT>_EMBARGO_DATA_ACCESS: can download the embargoed data from this project.

<PROJECT>_METADATA_EDITOR: can edit metadata from all campaigns and datasets of this project, it also inherits rights from <PROJECT>_EMBARGO_DATA_ACCESS.

Having the roles ABC_EMBARGO_DATA_ACCESS and ABC_METADATA_EDITOR is equivalent to having the role ABC_METADATA_EDITOR.

For example, a user who has the roles:

BAOBAB_METADATA_EDITOR,
– GLORIE_EMBARGO_DATA_ACCESS,
– ADM-AEOLUS_METADATA_EDITOR,
– ADM-AEOLUS_EMBARGO_DATA_ACCESS,
– GLAM_METADATA_EDITOR

… can:

  • access all metadata (such as a non-connected user)
  • download all datasets without embargo or whose embargo has expired (like a user connected without role)
  • download the BAOBAB project embargo data (BAOBAB_METADATA_EDITOR)
  • modify all metadata and data from the BAOBAB project (BAOBAB_METADATA_EDITOR)
  • download the GLORIE project embargoed data (GLORIE_EMBARGO_DATA_ACCESS)
  • modify all metadata and data from the ADM-AEOLUS project (AEOLUS_METADATA_EDITOR)
  • edit metadata from the campaigns and datasets of the GLAM project (GLAM_METADATA_EDITOR)

SAFIREPLUS_ADMIN : a SAFIRE+ admin has all rights, can edit all metadata, download all data, add, edit and delete existing contacts. It is also possible to create and remove campaigns, flights and datasets.
