French Research Aircraft
In France, several planes have succeeded to make observations of the atmosphere over the past 80 years.
The diagram below describes the period of use of French research aircraft since 1936. As the reference documents are sometimes incomplete, the dates are given as estimates.
We have numerical data until 1989 (aircraft name in blue). Currently, we have not found or reconstructed any before this date (aircraft name in red and black).
